Title
All web pages should have a title. In the eyes of a search engine, the title is the most important piece of information for deciding what a web page is about and for which keywords that page should achieve a high position. The title should be no longer than 64 characters and contain the keyword a maximum of two times. The first word in the title should preferably be the keyword.

All web pages should have an H1. It should be max 40 characters long and contain the keyword no more than two times. The first word in the H1 should preferably be the keyword. The H1 should also not be identical to the title of the web page.

Text volume
Search engines love text and the more relevant text you have, the better. More than 500 words on a page is favourable
Text relevancy
The word you wish to search engine optimize for, should appear in the
text on the page. Otherwise, the search engines find it hard to confirm
that the page is about your targeted keyword.
Source code
A website should mostly consist of readable text and not superfluous code that the search engines dislike crawling through.
Alt-tag
Using an alt-tag on images is important for both image search and normal
search. At least one of the images on the page needs an alt-tag
containing the keyword. Choose the image carefully as the alt-tag should
describe the image.
Meta description
The meta description should contain the keyword as early as possible.
URL
It is a great advantage, although not a must, for the URL of the web
page to contain the keyword. For example, the optimal URL for the
keyword "car" is http://www.car.com
